The area surrounding the bamboo forest looked like a warzone with craters and destruction as far as the plains allowed. For the last hour the Saiyan survivors were training harshly with each other preparing for the onslaught that was coming there way. Or it would be accurate to say it was every single one of them vs the Saiyan Queen as she beat them all down harshly. This was not the first time of the Queen training like this but this time was drastically different compared to the gentler times before.
Warriors littered the field tired and beaten almost to the point of there natural biology's zenkia to work. Zaks was being much harsher on them compared to all the together times she had trained them pulling her punches much less and even taking a little bit of her anger out on them. Of course the battle they were going into they would get no mercy ether and she wanted to install that in some of the greener warrior or that was what she told her self.
Currently only Gemini and shizo were still standing but just barely as each of them hand been able to fight back slightly and there for took must of her assault on themselves. "" Come on artic wont show you any mercy much like Athren didn't... truth is you both stand better chances vs athren then i do Artic..."" With that she drove her fist into shizo's stomach sending him flying with a cry of pain straight into Gemini the two landing in a pile. Whelp they didn't last long ether.
Zaks growled in frustration as she waited for anyone to get up for round two though she doubted that be anytime soon. Zaks had only partially powered up as her frustration had achieved an all new high making her unable to sleep or focus. She could no longer fully control her Lunar Demon inside of her and was forced to revert to the incomplete stage. She could not help but rub her face in frustration before looking around her realizing she had... probably went overboard. Gem and Shizo were probably ok with it but the others...
"" Everyone take a break will you?"" she moved over to a nearby stream and cupped some of the water into her hands to rub over her face well mainly her eyes that hurt so much from the permeant scowl she had on her face now days. Looking into the water she could not help but wonder what she was doing here? Why had she not just smashed Athren and taken the balls?
As she looked into her reflection she knew why she had not accused the voice in the back of her head. She didnt want to lose control again like she had just be about to. She didn't want to break her promise to everyone that she had come to earth in peace although she was not sure why she even tried anymore. She was villinzed regardless of what she did. coming to earth had them saying she was waltzing around like she owned the place. She wasn't stupid she listened to the radios and televisions the earth people were so found of and she understood why the original Saiyans did not like earthlings all that much.
She could not help but trace the bags under her eyes before her fingers moved up to her hair that no longer poofed as much as before and seemed to hang down almost straight dejectedly. Some Queen she was when she thought about it and all of her failures for her people. "" IF i ever get a chance to help them again I wont make the same mistakes again"" the truth was she already knew the outcome partially of the battle with artic. a small chuckle escaped her lips as she thought about it before she grew angry all over again.
Dying was another issue she had no more then ever when she thought about her judgment. IF May died defending people and was still sent to hell what chance did she have? So what if she tried to make the Saiyans honorable instead of paid thugs? Would the gods see that? Doubtful they were no better then the humans. would the gods see that she did the most painful thing of all and defend the world that had literally murdered her daughter? She already knew the answer to that Question. No Zaks was bound for hell no matter what she did and she could not help but wonder if she should even try to fight it anymore.
The sire had imparted so many urges in the young titan spawn that she didn't follow it was almost maddening ever since the Demon inside had woken up completely. The worst part that demon was almost always right.. don't trust them... sure enough they were right... You will never be considered good so why suffer for no reason?... she hated to admit that the demon was right with that logic as well. But what she hated the most was... that Demon was her that said. Get revenge! make them feel as you do! The thoughts wouldn't go away ethier...

In a swift crackling of energy, Callion materialized amidst the battered landscape, his aura shimmering erratically, mirroring his tumultuous state. His arrival cut through the tense air like a blade, his presence marked by a mix of raw fury and grim determination.
His eyes, usually fierce and determined, were now clouded with weariness, bloodshot from relentless training and the looming threat. The Saiyan's skin, typically vibrant, now bore a pallor, a stark contrast to the usual vigor he exuded. His gaze fixed upon the Queen, Zaks, his expression a blend of anger and concern. "Zaks," he growled, his voice roughened by fatigue, yet resonating with urgency. "What's the situation?"
The Saiyans around him, their bodies marked by the harsh training, glanced at Callion with a mix of recognition and surprise, sensing the gravity in his tone despite his worn-out appearance. Callion's jaw clenched as he took in the scene, the devastation around them reflecting the severity of the impending threat. Despite his own depleted state, his instincts for battle and protection surged, fueling his determination to confront the looming danger.
"Artic is coming, Planet Vegeta is gone." he stated firmly, his gaze never wavering from Zaks. "And we're not ready. What have we learned? What defences do we have?" Each word was punctuated by a controlled intensity, a testament to his unwavering resolve despite the exhaustion that seemed to seep from every pore. The weariness was evident in his stance, yet his Saiyan spirit burned fiercely within him, unwilling to yield even in the face of overwhelming odds.
As Callion stood amidst the aftermath of the gruelling landscape, every fibre of his being seemed to echo the toll of his relentless training. The exhaustion etched lines of weariness upon his face, deeper than the scars of battles past. His normally vibrant Saiyan aura flickered erratically, a dim echo of its usual fiery brilliance, hinting at his drained state.
His once-pristine Saiyan armor bore the marks of recent battles, scuffed, and scratched, a testament to the countless clashes he had faced. Tattered edges and dents adorned the armor, each imperfection telling a story of resilience and endurance. The Saiyan's breathing was laboured, each inhale a struggle against the weight of fatigue that seemed to hang upon him like an oppressive shroud. The muscles beneath his battle-worn armor twitched with tension, a silent testament to the relentless training regimen he had undergone.
His typically vibrant Saiyan hair, usually styled with unruly confidence, now hung limp and disheveled around his weary face. Strands of hair clung to his forehead, matted with sweat, while his eyes, usually alight with determination, now bore a hollow, distant gaze. A tremor ran through Callion's body, a subtle yet undeniable sign of the toll his exhaustion had taken. His hunger, a forgotten companion amidst the chaos, gnawed silently at his insides, yet he remained resolute, pushing past the physical strain in pursuit of answers and readiness.
The Saiyan's aura, a manifestation of his inner strength, flickered like a dying ember, barely holding on against the overwhelming fatigue that threatened to consume him. Yet, within this wearied shell, a simmering resolve burned fiercely, an unyielding determination to stand against the impending threat. Callion's eye twitched involuntarily, a minuscule yet telling sign of the mounting tension and exhaustion that gripped him. The Saiyans nearby, already fatigued from their rigorous training, could not help but quiver slightly at the sight of Callion's distressed countenance. His appearance, a stark deviation from his usual composed manner, sent ripples of unease through those who caught sight of him.
The raw intensity emanating from Callion, despite his worn-out state, was palpable. His gaze, a blend of frustration and determination, pierced through the haze of weariness that clouded his vision. His Saiyan instincts, honed through relentless training and battles fought, refused to falter, even in his depleted state.
"Also," Callion repeated, the urgency in his voice cutting through the tense silence. His tired eyes locked onto the Queen, demanding answers amidst the chaos that surrounded them. "He can arrive any day now. Have you been able to provide results in the Saiyans power growth?"
His voice, though strained, held an underlying resolve, a testament to his unwavering determination to protect what remained of their people. Despite the weariness that clung to him like a suffocating cloak, Callion's spirit burned fiercely, his Saiyan pride refusing to bend in the face of adversity. The Saiyans in the vicinity, their own fatigue evident in their postures, exchanged wary glances, silently acknowledging the gravity of the situation. Callion's unsettling appearance, a departure from his usual composed self, added an unexpected layer of tension to the already charged atmosphere.

ZaksWas surprised when she felt a power being apear near her as though they appeared out of then air and she whirled around in a panic to confront them. Only it was not an attacker but instead Callion standing amongst all the Saiyan warroirs that were currently recovering on the battle field from the fight they all had endured. She should have realized who it was by his Ki alone but she was far to out of it to be able to notice it at first.
Her eyes flashing a Quick gold as she looked him over and could not help but notice how even as ragged as he looked still pulled people to him and she could not help but focus on him despite the area she was in. She stopped when he started to question her about the situation and her hair on her neck bristled. "" the situation?"" she growled out under her breath.
What should she say? That the dragon balls were no longer in her hands? That Athren had tried to kill her and her closet aids? her fist clenched so tight as her nails dug into her palms making them bleed. Hadn't he felt them fighting over crimson rivers? A small spark of anger flared in her chest. Were had he been?
Her eyes suddenly took on a golden glow to them as she watched and listened to the rest of what he had to say and she was not pleased at all. of course they were not ready! She had tried to make them all understand that at the damn call to arms but no one wanted to listen to her about what they should have done. Now it was to late.
""The situation is I don't have the dragon balls anymore ... ABAS does."" She let that sink in as her eyes held a fury to them that was aimed directly at the Saiyan warrior. She wanted to believe he was being level with her as she could easily see he was just as stressed as she was. she could not help but squeeze the bridge of her nose as she rubbed her eyes. "" I tried to get the last of the dragon balls when i was Attacked by a Super Saiyan named Athren. I literately didn't get to say a word before he tried to hurt me.""
Turning away from Callion Zaks looked up at the sky and tried to control the frustration in her voice. "" He was the aggressor but he tried to kill my aids in cold blood... this .... doesn't make sense... He hated me for some reason. "" Her tone was slowly growing in anger and turning from her deep voice into a growl of pure hate.
The Saiyan Queen could not hide the hate that was in her voice or eyes even with the dark circles under them. "" I wont lie... I regret the Decision to protect the earth... and walking away from that fight. I should have just killed him and took the dragon balls. "" turning she looked out at her warriors who were starting to get up as the partially recovered from the beatings they had received and walk about helping others up.
"" Do you know how many times earth has betrayed my kind? I can understand there anger at us but... what they do... is wrong. Killing my daughter... absolving themselves of all the blame. Black mailing me into help defend there world? spreading lies about me? Lying how they would bring the perpetrators to justice? Not one word! NOT ONE WORD ABOUT THE INVESTGATION INTO MY DAUGHTERS KILLERS!EVEN I HAVE FOUND EVIDENCE AND THATS WHILE BEING RESTRICTED ON THIS DAMN PLANET Then and earthling TRIEST TO KILL ME? Trying to kill me as I prepare to defend there world? After I SACRIFICED MINE FOR THERES!?""
Her last sentence had Zaks turning to Callion the anger rolling off her so thick that the nearby warriors started to back up Except Shizo and Gemini. Both of them looked back and fourth between the two with more tension then a taught bowstring. "" Don't get me wrong... I don't plead to be an angel.. But i Gave a real effort to make things right... I am gonna need more then this if I am to help the earth.""
""The overall power has grown alot...I can now make all these warriors turn into the mighty great apes...in full control. "" Under normal circumstances this was a huge boon! No army in the Galaxy would be able to fight such a force but the wasn't the problem. Artic was the problem and they still stood no chance vs him. But if artic brought his men? they would be fighting for there lives as long as he didn't personally intervene.

Callion's expression remained stern and focused as Zaks revealed the dire situation. He observed her tumultuous emotions, understanding the weight of her words and the frustration bubbling within her. His fatigue seemed to deepen at the gravity of her revelations, each word adding another layer to the impending crisis.
His eyes, bloodshot and weary, locked onto Zaks, absorbing every detail of her account. Despite the weariness etched into his features, his determination remained unyielding, a flicker of unwavering resolve in the face of adversity. Zaks's anger and disillusionment resonated with him, striking a chord of empathy within the exhausted Saiyan warrior. The turmoil she expressed mirrored the conflicting emotions that raged within him. Earth's betrayal and the lack of justice for her daughter's death reverberated through his own memories of past injustices.
As Zaks spoke of her efforts to make amends, a contemplative silence enveloped Callion. The weight of the impending threat hung heavily in the air, each revelation amplifying the urgency of their situation. His mind raced, assessing the gravity of their predicament. The revelation about her newfound ability to command the Saiyan warriors in their Great Ape forms underlined the magnitude of their collective power. However, even this strength seemed dwarfed in comparison to the looming threat of Artic.
Callion's weary eyes scanned the surrounding Saiyan warriors, taking in their resilience despite the exhaustion that marked each one of them. His Saiyan pride surged, a testament to the unyielding spirit that bound them together, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. The Saiyan warrior's thoughts churned with strategic possibilities, a plan forming amidst the chaos. His gaze returned to Zaks, a glint of determination cutting through the weariness that weighed upon him.
"Zaks," he began, his voice strained yet resolute. "We may not be ready now, but we will be. We'll find a way to turn this around." His words carried an unwavering conviction, a vow to stand beside her despite the grim circumstances. He glanced at the Saiyans around them, a sense of unity and purpose weaving through their weariness. "We'll train harder, strategize better. We'll protect this world, despite its failures. We owe it to ourselves and to the legacy of our people."
With a determined nod, Callion's resolve hardened. "We'll make sure Artic and anyone else who threatens us will regret ever crossing our path." Callion's hands ran through his disheveled, onyx-black hair, a weary sigh escaping his lips. His expression softened momentarily, a rare moment of vulnerability amidst the weight of their situation. "I apologize," he began, his voice tinged with a sense of regret, "for appearing in such a state."
The weariness in his eyes deepened as he acknowledged the toll of his relentless training, the weight of his choices heavy upon him. "I've been training non-stop, pushing myself beyond reason," he confessed, a hint of self-admonishment coloring his tone. "I've made mistakes along the way, acted without thinking clearly." His gaze met Zaks', a mix of apology and determination in his tired eyes. "But I won't let that define our path forward. I'll learn from these errors and use them to fuel our readiness."
A flicker of resolve danced within him, a determination to rise above his own limitations despite the exhaustion that clung to him like a second skin. "I'm here now, and I'll stand with you to face whatever comes our way. We'll find a way through this together." With a resolute nod, Callion straightened his posture, a renewed sense of purpose emanating from his worn-out frame. His weary appearance belied the fiery spirit within him, a testament to his unwavering commitment to their cause.
"We'll forge a better path forward," he affirmed, a hint of determination lacing his tired words. Callion's eyes widened in disbelief as Zaks mentioned Athren's name, a surge of anger rippling through him like a tidal wave. His fatigue momentarily forgotten, a storm brewed within him, fueled by a deep-seated rage that ignited his Saiyan spirit.
"ATHREN?"
His voice thundered with an intensity that echoed through the desolate landscape. A searing ball of ki materialized in his trembling palm, crackling with unrestrained energy as fury coursed through his veins. The Saiyan warrior's emotions erupted like a volcano, his aura flaring as he hurled the charged energy ball with unbridled force. The impact resonated through the bamboo forest, an explosion of raw power tearing through a spacious section, shattering tranquility with its sheer force.
"FOR KAMI'S SAKE!" Callion roared, his rage uncontainable. His eyes blazed with a righteous fury, his frustration mounting to a crescendo. "OH I KNOW that piece of OOZARU TURD heard my telepathic message!" The air crackled with the charged energy of his fury as he clenched his fists, his ki surging uncontrollably around him.Pulling at his hair in sheer frustration, the Saiyan's ki intensified, an uncontrolled display of his tumultuous emotions. His left eye twitched involuntarily, a physical manifestation of the seething anger that consumed him.
The echoes of his unleashed power reverberated through the devastated landscape, a testament to the storm raging within Callion. His breathing grew erratic, each exhale carrying the weight of his frustration and seething rage.

Zaks was grateful to Callion as he listened to her anger and vent all of her frustrations over her one sided alliance with earth. She knew the alliance was over with as soon as artic was dealt with and Vegeta was brought back. It wasn't that Zaks was not wanting to make amends or be a good person. No the recent events had shown her the truth of earth and its people. A truth that completely contradicted Callions speech of duty.
He spoke passionately in a way that made her want to believe him and some were in the back of her mind it reminded her when she actually had a slight crush on the warrior. His words were uplifting full of hope and hit ever note that Zaks wanted to hear from her allies on this planet. Unfortunately it was his words vs the rest of the worlds. It was one voice of hope vs millions of people's hate, lies, and betrayal. Her own pain at there treachery still so raw that the proverbial wound was still bleeding. His words stirred a deep anger in her chest and it took everything she had to not literally snarl at the Saiyan monk before her like some sort of wild animal.
Yes she had in some ways overcame her pain by bringing May back to life with her invasion of hell and using the collective power of the realm. But May had come back a different person screaming herself awake at night remembering her vivid deaths in hell. She hadn't even come back to a world that would Accept her for her sacrifice but instead found out she was called a monster. In the face of the memories of her daughter hugging her crying in fear and in pain. The Queen found his words so hollow as he told her she owed this world anything at all and slight growl left her so low it could easily be ignored.
Only his apology and him explaining his earnest attempt to make his words real calmed her anger. While his words felt hollow at most of what he said not all of it was the case. The words that he would stand by her did not seem hollow at all and she felt relieved. She could see that like her he was tired worn out and honestly just as upset as her. Although for Zaks it was personal reasons and from all the weight placed on her. While he placed all the weight on himself but that made it no less stressful as she already knew. "" You Opherla and Liek... if it was not for you three... i would honestly abandon this world....it... I don't believe it worth Saving.""
As there conversation evolved she was very startled when his rage sudden burst forth at her mention of Athren. It was Evident that Callion knew who he was and he also so this act as.. well at the least worth getting angry at. Even so the anger he displayed was something that surprised her greatly as she always thought of his as a stoic warrior. It had to be the stress of everything she reasoned as she stepped back from him as his anger flared. She didn't need to look to see how the warriors around her reacted as she became nervous at his anger and prepared themselves for whatever was coming. ""CALM DOWN!""
The Saiyan Queen was startled by the words she heard shouted and it took even a moment to realized they were her own worlds. it took her another Second to realize she had powered up herself in Response to Callions display of rage and power. There Auras slamming into each other and pushing at the others trying to overpower there counterparts. The very Air began to have a build up of static and sparks started to fly from were they connected in a brutal display of power.
""Callion... I don't know what the hell Athren was thinking but he has some of the Dragon balls and we need him to give them to us. Everything depends on it... my entire race and for some unknown reason he hates me! I cant retrieve them... if i go back we will just fight again... and as much as i hate him....WE NEED HIM.""
She hated it... she wanted to kill Him for attacking her. He represented everything she hated in earth and She knew in the back of her mind there would be repercussions for his actions even if he himself did not know it yet. Even if Callion did not realize Zaks was no longer gonna be nice with earth. But she would honor this alliance until the end even if it killed her. The simple reason why was that while earth had betrayed her callion hadn't, Opherla hadn't, and Liek hadn't. Even those reason were not enough though. If left to her own devices Zaks would have left the earth to its fate and traveled to Frost. Artic would be hearing of his own worlds destruction at her hands but.
Tanya would not want that.
